The Beauty of Holiness...

St. Benedict, Edmonton, began ten years ago when a small group of Anglicans in Edmonton sought unity with the Catholic Church under the terms of Pope Benedict’s Apostolic Constitution Anglicanorum coetibus. The original Anglicans became fully Roman Catholic and in the decade since, have been joined by other converts as well as cradle Catholics and re-verts to the faith. Our little community has grown especially since 2020 and we are currently a mission of St. John the Evangelist in Calgary.

We do not currently have a Parish Priest, but are served by our Parochial Administrator The Very Rev'd Robert-Charles Bengry, kindly aided in liturgical functions by Fr. David McLeod, a Priest of the Military Ordinariate. We seek to establish ourselves, in time, as a full parish of the Ordinariate of the Chair of St. Peter.

We worship at the beautiful Protection of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church. Come and visit us and join our community for worship, fellowship and good works. Come and discover the Venerable English Mass!
