The Beauty of Holiness...
St. Thomas More, Toronto, is a traditional Catholic (quasi)parish of the Personal Ordinariate of the Chair of St. Peter where we make a special welcome to Anglicans (and other Protestants) who are seeking to come home to the Catholic Church. Originally erected in 2014 by Mons. Jeffrey Steenson, we’re a small but faithful community composed of converts, cradle Catholics and re-verts to the faith. We seek to grow in holiness in our daily lives, and find spiritual nourishment by coming together to worship according to the Ordinariate Form of the Mass.
We love our English patrimony and are convinced that the way in which the Anglican witness will be preserved in the wider Church is through full communion with the See of Peter, which provides the essential fullness of Catholic doctrine, as interpreted through the Petrine Ministry, for the organic unity and health of the Body of Christ.
We do not currently have a Parish Priest, but are served by our Parochial Administrator Deacon Joseph DeCaria, kindly aided in liturgical functions by a number of excellent Priests of the Archdiocese of Toronto. We gladly share our parish building here in Toronto with the Oratorians. Come and visit us and join our community for worship, fellowship and good works. Come and discover the Venerable English Mass!
